Greg was Global Co-Head of ING Financial Markets Global Investment Strategies (GIS) based in London responsible for investing €2 billion of proprietary capital in event driven and distressed situations.
Tony joined GIS based in Hong Kong in 2005 to help build ING’s China focussed distressed business.
Greg and Tony met Leon in 2006 and he quickly became a trusted and valued partner sourcing investment opportunities and servicing part of ING’s distressed investment portfolio.
When ING ceased its proprietary trading business in response to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, Greg and Leon formed LVF Capital in 2010 with the aim of raising a fund to take advantage of the largely untapped distressed investing opportunities in China.
Tony joined LVF Capital in 2012, having remained with ING for two years to unwind the GIS China assets.
LVF Capital co-founded Cole Waterhouse to pursue property development in the UK.
LVF Capital co-founded Nuojin Capital to meet emerging Chinese institutional demand for overseas investment opportunities.
LVF Capital co-founded Orient Longxin Capital to focus on distressed investing within China.
Orient Longxin Capital closed on a $500 million distressed debt fund.
